Sourmilk è un ambizioso progetto che ha sede in una villa liberty dell’inizio del 1900 a Menzago di Sumirago (Va).
Si propone come una realtà fatta per non rimanere nei confini nazionali ma, al contrario, risulta essere un rumore sotterraneo e globale che abbraccia ed intreccia culture, artisti, stili e personalità diverse. Rappresenta un importante punto di riferimento per poter conoscere artisti che del “bizzarro” hanno fatto il loro stile e per poter trovare materiale (libri e film) ricercati e difficili da recuperare altrove.

Art Bookshop

un locale dedicato alla vendita di artBook, fumetti, illustrated e photo book di controcultura da tutto il mondo, stampe sleazy, magazine e fanzine di carattere artistico e musicale dal panorama alternativo mondiale.

Sourmilk è un Luogo di incontro per musicisti, pittori, fotografi, artisti e amanti dell’arte senza compromessi e senza regole.
Nasce l’idea di creare anche uno spazio per EVENTI SERALI caratterizzati da selezioni musicali alternative e sperimentali, djing e vjing shows,performing artists, house concerts ed eventi ad hoc che arricchiscono creativamente il progetto.
Lo spazio è molto accogliente, si puo passare una piacevole serata chiacchierando comodamente seduti su morbidi puffs in acidissimo vinile o seduti a terra su cuscinoni oppure ancora rilassandosi su poltrone vintage e divani in pelle.

Affascinanti spazi distribuiti tra 4 stanze della villa in cui si svolgono mostre e vernissage di arte contemporanea con particolari selezioni per visionarie creazioni, acidi ritratti e scatti di insana realtà.
Surrealismo, mutazioni estetiche, figurazioni non-sense, catartiche realtà sono solo alcune delle caratterizzazioni del nostro percorso di ricerca espressiva.
Qui l’arte diventa padrona del caos e la follia di ogni artista colora in forte contrasto l’atmosfera di questi spazi.
Il nostro obiettivo è l’avanguardia CULTurale dove il talento dell’artista è l’unica misura che porta all’equilibrio.
Ogni mese una nuova esposizione di artisti nazionali ed internazionali con interventi degli stessi durante serate ed incontri nei quali è possibile conoscere racconti, storie o vedere sperimentazioni dal vivo.
Si organizzano inoltre collettivi e contest per artisti emergenti.
